Miguel Indurans TDF bike for auction.

"Made of light aluminium tubular construction with 16 gear derailleur and plastic racing pedals" I can see the auction house hired a real "expert" to help them with the description of the bike.

Plus someone really short has been riding that thing around

What certification comes with it to ensure that Indurain actually road this bike especially when this is the asking price ???

It's got a sticker on it, of course. Isn't that enough? :D

Looks like one of the Pegoretti built Pinarello's Indurain used, look at the neat TIG welds.

The frame is not made of aluminium, but rather steel (more than likely Excell tubing). It cannot possibly be Indurain's bike from 1995, as he was then riding on Metal Matrix tubing. There are also a number of other elements that do not correspond to Indurain's 1995 bike, so as far as I am concerned the whole description cannot be believed. If the auction house is in any way serious they will pull the auction and verify the provenance, otherwise it speaks very poorly of them.
