Any one got and experience with these?

A few weeks back I pick up a road bike to use as my winter hack/keep fit/throw it back in the shed bike and forget about it bike.
I ended up with this http://www.pinkbike.com/u/brian07900/al ... Eagle-531/ from RB member legrandefromage. I have been using it it as it is the pictures but with some bar tape. I now have that deep down dreaded feeling that it needs some sort of restoration/tarting up. It still going to be the winter bike so a fresh power coated frame in red (red bike go faster) and sturdy components will be used just no sure what yet. As you can see I have had a go at lining the lugs and I'm tempted to give this another go once the frame is freshly coated.
