They're basic bikes but it'll be a comfortable stylish ride. Lots of steel parts, well rims and crank, which takes a bit more looking after than a modern all alloy set up.
Personally I'd go for it! Actually if its the one I'm thinking of then I did go for it but logistically it wasn't possible
