 Post subject: cinelli ribble?

just picked up a bike with ribble stickers and 653,but stamped cinelli under the frame on the bb? any ides?

Nothing at all to do with Cinelli having anything to do with building the frame. Cinelli BB shells are/were good quality and a very commonly used component in frame construction.

Good to hear you've bought a Ribble and maybe paid the right price: so many frames are sold on Ebay as "Cinelli" (for a price much higher than what they're worth) just because they've a Cinelli lug!
As said, they were good quality and used by quite a few frambuilders
