Hi, lovely piece of history, looks early fifties, so the kit is probably original'ish. I had a quick skirt around and there's no trace of the shop any where, if you want more info, local archives maybe worth a visit. There was a boom in cycling just after the war, but started to hit a slippery slope in the early fifties, and this may of been a failed startup at that time. Are you restoring it, if so, its worth while taking your time and trying just to give it a cleanup, polish and tidyup first, as its the only one I've seen. Terry

really nice. what is the saddle please. i dont think i have noticed double ring cottered cranks much...but
the style of them looks familiar. would the brake levers be original also ?

the saddle is a Wittkop https://www.flickr.com/photos/24393643@N07/5503441915 and probably original, the levers at a guess aren't original - Altenburg's? The crank is 60/70's with pedal reflectors, but the rest looks early fifties. Terry
