I've only done a brief search but there doesn't seem to any info on here concerning Paul Donohue road bikes.
I know he's very highly regarded with the mtber's but how come there's nothing in the road section?
Are his road frames not as good as his mtb frames?

Cheers, Mick

The GW I built recently was built by Paul and it's a fantastic bike on the road.

Thanks for the quick replies.
So it's just a case of 'not many around' as opposed to 'they're rubbish, better not to mention them'
I thought if there was one place on t'net where I could find some info on them it would be here, but not even a picture :(

thanks again

both very nice

So how many different firms/makers would PD have made frames for?

Is there any way to date my PD bike from the serial number?

thanks again

Paul Donohue, as well as building for Graham Weigh/Deeside, also took over the Cougar marque from Terry Dolan in later years. PD-built steel Cougars were, IIRC, almost exculsively of welded construction, and I think alloy-framed Cougars also started to appear in larger numbers under his ownership.
