And what a day it was, an absolutely perfectly executed sportive with enthusiastic supporters and volunteers and a great vibe on the road! none of that rubbish crowding you get with most other sportives too. the last mile up to the mall brought me out in goosebumps, such was the noise and support from the crowd; well done that exhausted looking fellow who perked up and roused the supporters with cheers and shouts.
So who was there? I saw at least one retrobike shirt but plenty of well looked after vintage steel.
