Using 120mm rear Hub with 126mm OLD frame

Is this just a matter of adding some spacers or are there complications? Presume adding spacers to drive side allows use of 7/8 spd freewheel?

I am looking for a pair of high flange Camag hubs and the majority seem to be 126, hence the question

Thanks

Yes it is only a matter of adding spacers but it will need to be done on both sides in order to keep the rim in the center of the stays. alternately you could add the spacers to only the drive side and re-dish the wheel.

Adding spacers means you might run out of axle........

You say you have a 126 frame and all you can find are 126 hubs, not sure what the problem is. Or is your original post slightly wrong?

Over Locknut Dimension, also OLN Over Lock Nut.

It's the width of the rear triangle between the inside faces of the dropouts.

OLD, over locknut distance.

And Shaun is right 6 mm change in spacing would likely require a new axle as well.

Cheers I know what it meant but not what old stood for.
