Well iv'e found another interesting skip bike
It's been poorly painted with brush, but nice chroming underneath the grey finish.

105 (1050) Hubs (salvageable)

Frame measures C-C 55cm C-T 57cm
Sloping fork crown
Gipiemme ends
Nice rear brake bridge

Frame number which is present on LH inner dropout,BB RH front facing,Forks (225)

Chromed bits
3/4 seat stays
Chainstays
Seat stays bottom half
Down tube bottom 1/4
Forks

Seat post diameter 26.4

Whatever it is it's a nice find! Knowing where you are, it couldn't be a Tony Oliver could it? Otherwise it looks a bit Italian with the fluted seatstay tops.

I guess you have worked out if it's Italian by how the fixed BB unscrewed ?

Doesn't look italian to me though, not sure why, maybe the rear brake bridge being straight.

Thanks for the replies guys

Aha ha!!!! Skips are everywhere these days I suppose, but this sort of thing don't come round often I'm afraid.if they did then I would be tempted to give up the day job!

Tom Crowther. How can I tell?

Shaun, yes I checked the threads, they are British.

It is a very nice build, nice and light.
Strange numbering though, especially the rear lh dropout,on the inside too.

Plan is to build up with the rare 1st gen Shimano 105 (1050) version
Repaint the painted bits, leave the chrome as is,a bit of work left on the chroming.
