I have to polish some old aluminium parts with some tarnish.
Chainset, hubs, mechs.
Now i saw this Never Dull Polish.
Is anyone using this and does it give a good result?

Never tried Never Dull but I doubt anything can top Autoglym on aluminium, it will give a mirror finish :)

Today i bought a tube Autosol Metal Polish and that's great stuff.
Easy to apply and gives a mirror shine on chrome and aluminium, perfect!!!

Thanks for the tips. ;)

Just my 2p worth -

I have used Autosol and it is great
I then used Vitalsol -and it is really good
I am currently using Mothers Mag and Aluminium Polish and it is the best - link - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mothers-Mag-Alu ... ers+polish

I should add that Autosol seems to be a more abrasive polish and i still use it when i start polishing something, i then finish with the Mothers which gives an amzing finish.

Never heard of that Richard, but I will give it a try as my modern steed has been stripped to bare aluminium. I have autosol'd it but like you say it's still a little abrasive and I'm after a mirror finish (which will be great fun...or a nightmare to maintain)

Nathan,

It is available in Auto Sport and Spares in Harryville - if you are up this neck of the woods. I will put the kettle on if you call up as i am 5 mins drive from it.
