8 speed freewheels are easy to find and work well with 8 speed Ergo's. the problem is unless you find some Mirage ones they can be stupid money.

Did Campagnolo actually make 8-speed freewheels?

No by then they where using cassettes. I have a Campag 7 speed freewheel and its a thing of beauty, got it off ebay for a very reasonable price
