Saw this on the bay and to me it has 80s written all over it.
if it were a 60s frame they'd have had to go to so much effort
New/modern rear derailleur stop on the chainstay.
New rear dropouts brazed on (according to seller) & re-space them (unless frames were 126mm in the mid 60s?)
Possibly new top tube cable guides
Seatstay rack mounts & drilled bottle cage mounts
Then finally respray it & put on later (non 60s) reynolds transfers
I don't even think the fork crown looks 60s style, anyway it turns out the frame is in Teeside not Stevenage as I would have been interested but what do you think, meddled with 60s frame or late 70s/early 80s job?
