Raleigh bottom bracket shell threads/headset question

Before I start to randomly bid on old cheap Raleigh racers on eBay  , Am I correct in thinking the Bottom Bracket shell & fork/headset threads are odd sizes. Or does it depend on the year/model of bike?
If so, are these difficult to obtain?

Any advice will be appreciated :D

By the time of my era (70's) a lot of the "racing bikes" had normal ISO kit, just some of the older designs and old bikes coming in form repair had Raleigh only stuff............

Generally if it has a rear mech and not a 3 speed SA you are safe.
