Just wondering if the age old, tried and trusted method of new chain calculation, i.e, wrap chain round the largest chainring and largest freewheel cog without going through the rear mech, then add one link, will still work in a Time Trial situation?
Basically I have a single 54 Chainring and a 5-speed 13-17 freewheel with Huret Jubilee rear mech. So, does the above still apply with just one chainring?
