I am a newbie to the forum and a newbie to old (ish) steel frames and bikes.

I have just bought an early 90's Colnago Master Olympic frameset and I would like some advice on how to build the bike up. Ideally i would like to keep the look of the groupset as original as possible, however would like the mod cons and ease of use of ergolevers etc.

All help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

If Early 90s, then it will have to be the 8speed Ergos with pointy tops.

My recollection is that the original Record Ergos launched around 1992/3? '92 in the peloton, '93 in the shops?
