Hilton Wrigley Bikes or Marsden

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone out there out there owns, or knows anyone that owns a Hilton Wrigley bike in any condition they were thinking of selling?

My father had one of these bikes built for himself many years ago, and I would love to be able to buy one for us to renovate together.

There are a few residing with members of the Bygone Bykes Club in Yorkshire. One was for sale a year or two back but I know it got sold - to another BBC member.

Interesting little article, was your Dad a member of Morley CC?

I can't remember him telling me the names of the clubs he cycled in. I will have to ask him. I would like him to write a few of his stories down, they would make interesting reading. It's nice to hear the stories from his younger days, even if i've heard them probably a dozen times.

I'll have to keep an eye open on here for a Hilton Wrigley bike, I can't imagine there are too many left around are there? I'd love to find a fixer upper, it would be something I could keep, and maybe one day pass on to my son.
