Wow that is absolutely beautiful, someting to aspire to , though I think I'd be too scared to take that out the house! Incredible job, i dread to think what that 50th anniversary set cost!

great to see bikes restored to their original glory. My asolo will be a fair weather bike but still want to use it for my daily commute , bikes need to be ridden !

I've done just over 300 miles on it so far, no point having a bike you don't ride but I do pick the weather.

Good luck with you project looks a nice frame.

Hi Montello , I honestly didn't meant I suggest you didn't ride it! It's truly stunning . Is it an enamel paint finish? I will probably get lynched for this but I was _maybe_ considering powdercoat if I can find someone good enough not to cake the frame and ruin the panto. I know enamel looks better but it does chip easily . I think powder coating , especially at specialist shops has come a long way and doesn't deserve the bad rep it often gets .

It is enamel painted, I think I'd rather have a bike that looks good and live with the chips. The bloke that painted the bike, ColourTech, gave me a small post of paint so I can do touch ups that match.

There are lots of nice details on your frame, good if you can retain them after refinishing.
