Is it a Delta brake spring?
I can't find any info on the Internet apart from an old Ebay listing.

Thanks!

Yes, this is the spring from a pair of Croc D'Auane Deltas which are very different to the Record units.

Many thanks!

Out of interest, which brakes are better?
Also, what year(s); and are they front and back?

I have a packet of 5 NOS springs.

Cheers.

Sadly all Deltas were woefully bad brakes. Croc D'Auane versions came out around 86 and ran for 2-3 years.

Did the croc deltas function better or worse?

The later Crocs with the 5-point mechanism were reported to be the best functioning Deltas

Is the above spring part of the 5-point mechanism Croc D'Auane versions?
