I've just completed a rebuild/refurb of a RRA, the frame and forks of which I believe date back to the 1950's. However, it has a fairly sketchy back story and I can't make head or tail of its frame number - 1073FS. Originally, this bike had Sturmey Archer gears but it's now kitted out with 70/80s Dura Ace and Campag + Golden Arrow f & r mechs and Modolo calliper brakes and TA chainset. A bit of a mixture but it's all good kit and it rides brilliantly.

Can anyone help me date it??

Jacko, We will need close up pics of lugs, fork ends, fork crown and seat cluster. If you can measure the diameter of the saddle pillar (pin) or confirm whether the frame angles are 73 head 71 seat it could help.
