Finding a copy make take you a while.
Round the world on a wheel.. written in 1899 by John Foster Fraser. A lovely account of three men who rode round the globe.19,237 miles covered on sturdy roadsters.
It contains turns of phrases that have all but vanished from our language.
one of my favourite is
"Two hours beyond noon"
