Its that old thing again....

Or is it? How many of these things did his Holiness actually have?

Maybe if it was the latest popes he would be GIVING it away - what with his new 'Accumulation of Wealth' sin and all.

£250,000
I would want it to come with a gold plated Ferrari with a rack on the back for the bike for that much.

if i remember correctly these were a very ltd edition and were built using columbus tubed gold plated mexico frames- which were "oro" to celebrate eddys hour record in mexico
as a pure exercise in one up manship a small batch were built gold plated as opposed to gold painted, these were given to the pope, agnelli, head of fiat, juventus and most of italian industry dino zoff the italian goalkeeper and a few other high power italians
as for numbers i would be suprised if there were more than a dozen built
a quick email to
isaia@colnago.com the archivist with the frame no will confirm the authenticity
first complete bike i have seen but have seen a couple of gold plated frames over the years
bit too rich for me-but hey you never know its wednesday, its lottery day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
