Picked up this peculiar frame recently and can't find any references to the manufacturer anywhere on the web. Head badge says 'Globe Steel Cycles' but I don't think there's any connection with the current Globe bikes. Seems to be Reynolds 531 with Suntour GS dropouts - same as I've seen on the '82 Raleigh Gran Sport. Groupset is mostly 600 Arabesque - though I can't say whether this has always been on there. The seat tube and down tube are oval section for most of their length but cylindrical at the ends. All the signs are that it's late 70s / early 80s. If anyone has any idea where it came from I would love to know.
