Short end of Winter ride?

Rode down to Devon a week or so ago.{14,15 and 16}on my olde faithful Mercian .
225 miles covered .One and half days of sun One half days of pouring rain and hail :evil:

Hi,

Apologies for my ignorance, but is Meridian a place? I presume it is the pic of the memorial - but the dates are not right (or is it me?).

Hi Richard.
Yes it is the memorial .I think their are two plaques. 1 for the 1st WW and 1 for the 2nd WW
Meriden is bang centre of England.

You picked a great time for the ride!! NOT!! If it is anything there like here, you were lucky not to get stuck in a snow drift. I saw pics of a drift today which was at least 16 feet tall and it was only about 3 miles from where i was!!! Luckily i was in the heat!
