Replacement Hoods Shimano M-140 / MA-100, Dura-Ace First Gen

Hi, can anybody help me please.

I have a pair of Shimano M-140 / MA-100, Dura-Ace First Generation brake levers but the hoods have perished.

Can anybody suggest a suitable replacement, or even better somewhere I could search for NOS.

If money is no object - i suspect you will get them on ebay otherwise, this is not easy!! Have a read here -

This compounds my initial point about the difficulty in obtaining hoods.

Good luck with your quest (if you find 600ax hoods at an affordable price please PM me - i am not holding my breath!!)

I was afraid that might be the case but thanks for your link and I'll come back to you if I do spot something.

On one of the other sites, somebody suggested that Cane Creek hoods might fit mine; there's black or tan ones available on the SJS Cycles site so I've emailed them to see if they'll fit either mine or yours. Obviously not quite what I'm looking for but would potentially do as a stop gap.

It is a nightmare, i am regretting not buying a pair of NOS 600AX hoods for £50 when i saw them a few months ago but £50 for hoods - who is maddest me or the seller??????
