Brake nut on carbon Edge fork

Hi Guys,

I have a GT Edge with the aero Carbon fork. I am transferring some components of another bike to it and need a longer brake nut. At least, that is what I guess. A problem solvers 30mm nut would be ok, or a Cannondale six nut of 35mm, but while searching, I came across a "Shimano Calliper Fixing Nut for Deep Carbon Forks". It is not long but seems to have a 45 degree tapered head instead of square. The inside of the hole of the fork is a bit messy, but it is certain that the entry hole diameter (brake side) is smaller then the rear side hole diameter. If I try to feel if there is a recess or something, it feels more like a smooth (45 degree tapered?) transition then straight. The diameter on the back is not big enough for a standard brake nut head. Does anybody have such a fork and how are the brakes mounted, or does anybody know here this shimano nut is meant for?

Thanks!

This is the shimano nut:
