Hello!
I am an avid mountainbiker but don't know much about road cycles. A friend of mine wants to buy a Kobe road bike. It is not a retro bike by any means, but I don't know more know people that are more knowledgeable than Retrobike users and, on the other hand, all search results on Kobe road bikes were about steel lugged frames, nothing else.
It would really help, if somebody could provide some info on how the company did and where it is today. This is the ad, with pictures:
