Hope someone can help my mind has faded a bit! I have had 2 vitus frames years ago and used standard round seatposts, any advantage in spending more to get one with a flat bit for the grubscew to locate, I cant remember having any problems with the round ones....

Mine has a regular round campag post which has "dents" from the vitus grubscrew , I imagine it would need a LOT of alloy thickness on the back before the flat is milled or it would simply be too thin/weak
