Raleighmad's Raleigh 753 is very very nice but for me it would best be described as a classic bike where has the Banana 753 is defiantly Retro. It’s the bike equivalent of a Ford Capri 2.8i with furry dice! I do have to confess to a slight bias here however… :lol:

Just for the record the Banana, was made in 88 not 1968! It was ridden by the late Dave Rayner I believe this to be the bike he used in the milk race and won the best young riders award on.

I think the '68 is part of the users name rather than the year of build :wink:

Raleigh banana for me, I'd kill for a 753 version. Infact I'd have any of the tubing. Just love the bikes, yellow bar tape and saddle just finish it off 8)
