Do any of you hoarders happen to have a cycling weekly from this period that gives the component prices particularly record delta's? I recall Ribble used to list all that stuff. A scan to the catalogue section would be better still!

Thanks

I guess another question would be, where would you buy Campagnolo kit from back then? mail order, LBS?

Looking at March 16 1989 Cycling now. Mostly advertised as Groupsets, not a lot of individual pricing but here are some -

Direct Discount, Orpington

Athena Chainset - £55.95
Athena Brakeset - £55.95

Paul Milnes, Bradford

Athena Chainset - £59.95
Athena Brakeset - £59.95
Chorus Chainset - £89.95
Chorus Brakeset - £89.95

All plus postage.

In the March 30 edition -

Parkers,

Delta C-Record Brakes - £197.35
Croce D'Aune Deltas - £137.50

Plenty more mags to go at. Is there anything specific you're looking for?

No that's what I was curious about - the Deltas. Cheers.

Its worth scanning ebay for old issues of 'the comic'

Only last week someone was selling a job lot of 1989-1991 issues for not much...reading this has made me wish I'd bid now!
