I just picked up a Colnago frame few days ago and after 3 days on Google I still have absolutely no idea about it.

The frame I got has a star shaped down tube and no Columbus sticker.

Is it possible that Colnago does not use Columbus tube on their bike?

It also comes with peeling clear coat(mostly on decal edge) and some decal seem out of place

(top of letter "A" at seat tube placed on hole??), so possibly a respray?

Can anyone help me ID this frame and its value. thanks for your input

You need to get Saarf on this, he's one of the resident Colnago experts.

Nice frame, it is certainly a respray though hence the dodgy stickers.

Tecnos frames were made from Columbus Nivachrom tubing with 'Columbus Tecnos 2000' on the Columbus badge. Earlier Tecnos frames were made from Columbus EL-OS tubing but these weren't fluted.

I had a look at my circa '88 master piu. Frame details look identical . It looks nothing like any of my others......
