A friend asked me to have a look at a Raleigh Cameo women's step-through she's thinking of buying; the Sturmey Archer hub is marked "86 5", so May 1986 I assume.
Generally it's in good condition (except the bottom of both mudguards which are rusted through, despite the rest of the bike showing little evidence of hard use).
However none of the tools in my on-bike kit fitted, so I assume all the fixings are Imperial. Can anyone confirm this?
I have an Eighties Raleigh and everything is Metric on that.
