I had one of those on the Raleigh, but it was accompanied by a high pitched tinkling noise, both from the back wheel.

Ever tried getting a spoke nipple out of a deep section wheel? :evil:

My bikes are both getting trashed from this weather. I've got no choice other than to switch to a cheap frame for the winter and save the nice ones for the summer, or they are going to suffer damage that won't be reversible.
