I thought i would share this - as part of my build, i was advised to oil the seat tube and head tube using a rag. I used a straightened coat hangar bent round an old oil coated sock - like a 'pull through' - those who know about firearms will know what i mean. I used pliers to bend the coat hanger tightly around the sock.

Might me of some help to others.

Colour restorer works as a metal polish, and it's much cheaper if you get the non branded stuff like in Wilkinsons.
