Need help to identify Merckx frame

I recently bought an old merckx frame on ebay as a project for the next few months. Before I start buying parts I would like to identify the model and year of the frame.

Any ideas?

look for the serial number, then check here http://www.cadre.org/Merckx/

Well show us a picture then.

Cadre will only work if it's made by Merckx. There are other Merckx's by;

Falcon
Colnago
De Rosa
and of course the "Molteni" garage respray.
