I've just bought this bike as a winter training bike, it's not quite right for me and I'm looking to sell it on. I've already got it up for sale but just curious to know what it is.

It's Reynolds 531ST and the sticker identifies it as having been made after 1984. The diamond shaped bottle braze ons look quite distinct.

Can anyone help ?

Cheers

James

I'm not sure what the bike is but it looks good, have you got a shot of the headtube badge?

Looks like a tourer from the tube set choice and canti bosses. I would suspect a custom or small builder.

here's the head badge, I don't think for one minute that this is the real manufacturer, Kung Fu Boy !!!

Yeah, I'm sure it's a tourer, too slack to be a cross bike.

What he said. Bottle bosses are too ornate for it to be a Triumph Road offering or anything from the Dawes Galaxy family. Definitely not a CX bike BTW - mudguard eyes are the giveaway.

Pity it didn't turn out to be a good fit for you - looks like a really nice frameset.
