O’brien!!!!!

Dirt Disciple
Hi guys,

Here is one of my first posts……….

In one week I managed to buy three racing bikes…….the mother is not impressed!!!
I ride pretty much daily on my Raleigh zenith :)

Well…..
Here is my new retro racer that I have striped down, ready for a new project!
It has ITM bars and quill and Huret components. The rims are shot, the font is just about salvageable…. but the rear, well it is in half. :-(

The parts have been taken off for cleaning and polishing!!!! I love polishing!!!!
It’s an O’brien and I know that you guys on here don’t know much about them apart they were made under name in Coventry. The frame is triangular tubing; the tubing is unknown as I can’t read the sticker. Maybe some one will recognise it??

The Guy originally wanted £20 for it, but as it was at a show the next day when he was packing up in the rain I got it for the small price of £2:00!!! I understand that the quill and the bars are quite sought-after…. I love it especially the tubing! I know it’s a rust bucket in places but I’m here to show you guy’s and see if anymore can be found about it. P.s if any one knows where to buy some decals for the O’brien then I will be very happy!!!

Thank you, James. :)

Images below! until I work out how to put them in!!!
