shimano 6207 or 105 on a gazelle?

i'm in the process of building an 86 champion mondial and have gathered together half the shimano 6207 group-set as these are period to the bike and equal quality to campag as reflected in the prices. a chance has come up now to get a full 105 group-set, same period in the anodised grey but knowing nothing about shimano 105 the question is which way do i go?
 
thanks for that bm0p, any more views would be very much appreciated baring in my mind the last bike i rode was a raleigh burner many, many years ago so obviously not that clued up on quality bikes but trying to do it right.
 
yup nowt wrong with 105. If the Midnight Blue goes with the bike then it'll save you trawling for parts...What colour is your Gazelle?
 
I I forgot mention I have a complete 1055/6 group on a Trek apart form levers which 600. It performs fautlessly.
