Interesting the weight on it though. In these days of carbon 9.67 kg would be considered a clydesdale.
 
Is that the actual bike, or just the frame?

I'm sure he had to get it resprayed in the original colours, and was looking for parts for it.
 
9.67kg is pretty heavy for 1987 in any case, my mid 80s 531ST (now) with STIs, triple chainset/guards and a frame pump is only 10.5kg AND its a 58cm frame

The Sun Manxman and the Carlton are even more interesting!

I reckon 21lbs is pretty good for a steel road bike of that era. They were built to take a lot of punishment in the pro peloton.
