 Post subject: 80's Peugeots threading

I've got loads of spare bits that would make a nice singlespeed, and a 80's Peugeot frame...don't worry it's only a real pants one.

Thing is are the threads and stem diameters standard on these? I don't have an 1" headset about to try it. If they are it's just a case of grinding off some odd attachments, powder coating it and off I go.

Peugeot switched to British threads over a period of several years during the first half of the Eighties (and apparently used Swiss for a time just to make things more complicated).

If you can date it from the decals, then the situation may become a little clearer...
