My knowledge of quill stems is lacking. I have a couple for a trek 2300 (carbon/alu) but they weight in at 280g. This is normal for the cheaper quills (Zenith)

Anyone know of a quill that weight alot less thn the Zenith say ~200g. I want to get his bike a bit lighter. Seatpost will have to have to changed and some other bits to save more weight.

I will not be fitting a quill to ahead adpater as that will not save much weight if any at all. It's down to 8.07kg which is not bad, well it will be with the wheels built up.

280g isn't bad for a forged alu stem...all the Cinelli/3TTT/Nitto stuff is around that weight.
You could get down to 170-210g if you can find a Lightspeed, 3TTT Corsa or Cinelli Grammo that suits, but they're not specially elegant things...or stiff either:

There are some pretty light steel ones around, try Profile...or there's always the ControlTech or Profile welded alu ones.
All the best,
