history ( brief )
The company was started by Gatti in 1919 and formally founded in Italy in 1921 by Cesare Rizzato and was notable for its racing bicycles which won several championships in the early 20th century. The company also had some championship success in the 1980s before hitting financial difficulties. Part of the company was sold in 2002. Now the 50% of the company is owned by Accell Group. The company also produces bicycles for the brands "Carraro", "Whistle USA", "Maino" and 'Dei".

If you are restoring, T-cut then fit some NOS decals and wax well...luvverley...

Has the same headtube lugs as my 1987 Atala Corsa GS (columbus aelle pipes). Yours looks a nicer model though, and likley made from higher up SL tubing. Mine doesn't have "Atala" pantographed on the fork crown, nor fastback stays or the internal cable routing for rear brake.

Any idea of rear spacing? 126mm should put it to the 1980's for sure and prob a Professional model.
