Hi all,Ive got a Orange c16 and was thinking about a retro road bike but not sure where to start,did happen to see this though and wondered if anyone could tell me if its A any good and Bis it worth it and if poss what year it is,thanks
 
It's ok but I reckon you could pick something better up for about £100. Look for something in Reynolds tubing ideally 501 tubing or higher. Something like a Raleigh Record Sprint, Eclipse, or similar.

Keep asking here for advice if you're not sure.
 
That bike is for sale just around the corner from where I was born and grew up :)

How retro do you want to go?

Thanks for the replies,Im 5 ft 11.I like my Orange but while on the road I tend to run out of gears so was looking at a road,hybrid type bike,as I said Im new to retro biking but want something thatll be fairly responsive as I probably wont do more than 30 miles a time so maybe a flat bar commuter might be better?
