My cousin found this bike and is keen to know what it is/how old it is - can anyone help?

thanks!

Can't see any logo's on anything there, agree though with Tel, if it had been a raleigh of that era there would have been a Heron somewhere in the metalwork LOL

From what I can see, the front forks are back about an inch, and the handlebars are 2 or 3 inches too high.
Probably made from standard components available to any large scale manufacturer in the 1960's.

thanks! will pass it on. kind of surprised rod brakes were still being used in the 60s, though i suppose it would be cheap old tech..

You could still buy rod brake bikes in the 70's, OK they were usually dark green and weighed a ton but there they were in the bike shop I worked in in the 70's (starting about 73 I think)..chrome tips on the front mudguard..

Rudge rings a bell as does the last of the Raleigh's LOL
