Finished* building this up a while ago. Used to look like this:

Now it looks like:

Pretty pleased with the outcome, especially considering this was my first real go at building up a bike from scratch. Just thinking about whether to get some decals, any thoughts?


*I'm on the look out for a nicer seat post (are non-campag aero posts available?), some amber wall tyres, maybe a brooks and then a rack and guards for a bit of light touring, i.e. to the pub

Just stumbled upon this thread....that's me in a Rudy Project Circuit Series TT near Boroughbridge, back in summer 2001 I think! :)

Your restored frame's come up well. For a non-Campag aero post you might be able to pick up a Miche or Selcof one from eBay.

Yeah, I remember submitting a photo to the site ages ago. I was nowhere near winning, Stuart Dangerfield caught me for 1 minute before I was even half-way into the first lap!
