Hi

I have my dads old Raleightans I think it is a grand prix but not sure. Any ideas?

It has Sachs huret derailleur and gears.

Also, in it's condition, do you know how much these go for?

Cheers
Luke

Hard to tell exactly with no graphics what so ever. It's low end and nothing special. Judging by the colour I'd say it is a Raleigh Arena.

Value wise. £100'ish in A1 condition

Think it may be an earlier frame, when I had my Arena in 78/79 it didn't have the pump mounts and was only a five speed

Well it might not be. Some Arena's had black head tubes too, some didn't. I'm quite sure that the later models had 10 speed and I recall mine had pump pegs.

Anyway it's just my suggestion mainly based upon the colour and low spec.

Can't work out if the blue is sprayed over the red........if that's the case then I'm not sure if the Arena came in Carmine (the raleigh red at the time).

As well as the blue(IIRC the colour was RRM116-CF12) it also came in a very fetching green...
