Found a Shimano Crane short cage deralier in pretty good nick in a bike recycling shop.
Never heard of a Crane, what sort of spec level is it and any idea of value as rarity can sometimes mean it may be worth selling on.
Might be nice to fit it to a fast run around but as I'm mainly an off roader it might spend too much time gathering dust.
Colour mainly chrome with a black painted background to the Crane name.

Hi it's an early Dura-Ace (first type) even when all the other components became Dura -Ace it stayed as Crane for a while, circa 1974-ish I think.

i remember Crane mechs, quite long cage, maybe as a touring bike mech, circa 77/78. They were expensive top of the range stuff. Lovely!
