Any opinions or info on Raleighs use of 853? I have come across one at the right price and am tempted rather than a throw away alloy or carbon (I regard 25 years as just run in for a frame) one. Can't afford a new top of the range steel frame.

Raleigh handbuilt stuff is mighty fine, 853 is a very good frameset.
