Just got a 1984 Jackson with its original Wolber tubs! They look great but are not up to serious riding in OS events. What would those in the know recommend as a suitable replacement which would not be out of place on the sprint wheels? Will keep the Wolbers for display purposes!!!!

Continental Giros are available in a skin-wall version.

I'm using some schwalbe tubs right now, either the milano or montello, I can't remember which. cost me 44 euros for the pair last year, skin walls, nice file tread pattern, well built, and the ride is pretty good too!

I'd second the Schwalbe Milanos. They have good white walls like Clements, not the yellow/brownish Vittoria look. Let down a bit by the big branding, though:

All the best,
