My friend brought his Rossin , which I had restored, with a problem with the bottom bracket..
When I looked at the bike, the campag bb (Athena) the cup on the chainset side had screwed its self out and the other cup had screwed itself into the bottom bracket,, there was no play just the whole chainset had moved about 20mm away from the bottom bracket, and the chainset was as free as normal
As the BB was italian thread, then it could only come undone while back-pedalling as it would tighten going the normal way !!!!
Any ideas ??????
