Hi, I recently got this off ebay as my 1st road bike. The seller told me that it is a Viner that was resprayed by harry halls Manchester 20 or so years ago. It is in the same colour scheme as this Viner record racing found here: http://buzzbombbicycles.wordpress.com/2 ... rbishing/#
But the cut outs on my bike are X shaped and the decals are "campione" perhaps the resprayer was trying to replicate the blue and yellow colour scheme?
It has good components so I think it must be a good quality frame and a cut out on the bottom bracket according to my dad suggests that it is European not British. It has shimano 105 gears and brakes, campag hubs, mavic wheels, cinelli bars, miche seat post (though that is stuck).
